News from NMIT | NMIT Alumna commissioned as Flying Officer in Indian Air Force

NMIT is proud to share that Flying Officer Rishina Sharma, our alumna, has been commissioned into the Indian Air Force as a Flying Officer. She completed her Passing Out Parade on 7th March 2026 at the Air Force Technical College, Bengaluru, in the Aeronautical Engineering Branch of the IAF.

Rishina Sharma graduated from NMIT in Information Science & Engineering in 2022. Initially, she worked as a Cybersecurity Analyst at Société Générale. Driven by her passion to serve the nation through the Indian Air Force, she chose this distinguished career path. During her undergraduate days, she was also an active NCC cadet.
